Fixed Income Sales Trader
(Location: Mayfair, London)JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate would have minimum 5 years experience in trading investment grade, high yield bonds (including convertibles) and illiquids As Fixed Income Sales Trader your job will be to make markets in focus products and execute security trades on behalf of institutional clients based on in-house research, market events, portfolio management guidelines and general market flows.
While your focus from day to day will be on trading secondary paper in global markets, you will also be involved in origination and distribution of Maystone’s own primary deal pipeline.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Business Development and influence the direction of the business unit. You will have the unique opportunity to build and grow with the company.
Candidate Profile

1)A self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mind set. You must be willing to roll your sleeves up and take ownership of growing your business volumes;

2) Bachelor or above degree (preferably in finance or a related subject);

3) Solid product knowledge across all fixed income products in European
and Asian markets gained at a large institution. Some smaller firm experience would be useful; -
4)Evidence of strong client relationships in key jurisdictions – hedge
funds, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds, family offices who
would bring their business to Maystone with you.
Remuneration
Remuneration will be commensurate to the level of experience and highly
geared to production.
